honoring color in your home

i love color and lots of it, especially on the home front! for today's post i wanted to share some of my favorite links regarding home decor. for me, it's all about honoring color in your home. color is what inspires and makes me happy.  i often run across home decor blogs and websites that i thought you might also enjoy...so here ya go! enjoy!

~let's make this clear...there are few things i don't love in lillian august, but here is one of my absolute favorites from the zanzibar collection.

~even though i do not own one yet, i am obsessed with these little crocheted bursts of brightness, they would brighten anyone's home. pouffes by lacasadecoto

~while traveling to helsinki, finland last year it was hard to miss the famous patterns of bright blue poppies peering at you from just about every store front. some of you might already be familiar with this  leading finnish textile and clothing design company, marimekko. they have their new spring line of fabrics and clothes out now.

~if you have a "little" artist at home this is perfect for turning any  design, drawing or picture into your very own custom carpet.

~and last but certainly not least, today as i was writing this blog entry, my sweet mother-in-law, sue, called to tell me she was bringing over a chair that she just bought for us! and can you believe...this is the chair!!! i'm so in love with it! you can find it and other fun stuff here.
